Our Youth Hockey Program

 

In 2023, Jacob Olah and his, Michelle, took over a loved Independence landmark, B&D Skating Rink, now known as Olahrama Skate Center. With a passion for hockey since 1995, Jake's dream of ownership has come true. Hockey played a vital role in guiding him through his teenage years, and today, he shares that passion with his son, Christopher, as they build teams together that have been active since then. Olahrama Quick Sticks was founded to offer Independence youth a chance to grow in character, discipline, and structure through affordable sport. Jake is committed to creating a safe and enjoyable environment for these young athletes. However, travel costs can be a burden, making it difficult for many local kids to participate in games. Olahrama has sought support from local businesses, and the response has been incredibly generous. We truly appreciate your support! Thank you, and God bless!
