We are the Olah family and we are so grateful for the opportunity to take over such an amazing legacy.
Jake and Michelle have been married for 15 years and life time residents of Independence. Jake has been coming to this skating rink since he was 5 years old with his grandfather. When the opportunity presented it self. Jake knew he and Michelle needed to jump on it. Now adults and with four children they look forward to keeping what once was B&D still a staple of Independence.
Duffy and his late wife Sandy started managing the rink in 1981.
Dorothy (the 'D'in B&D) and her late husband Bill built and opened B&D in 1975.
